This is where AI will win. Problem is a lot of big players will lose and is why we’re seeing so much doom posting from the frontier models. @DarioAmodei saw it first which is why he is the loudest.
It will be interesting to see who wins. Amodei’s biggest mistake was dissing the government. He may get pushed aside even though what he’s been pushing for wins.

Gonna have to add Klipper to this thing. When adjusting Z through the interface screen there is no way to tell if it moved or not. There is no indicator you just have to listen for a sound that is different. With the minor adjustment you can't tell at all.

I level and i still have to adjust auto z on some up and some down. I saved and it doesn't apply.

How come we have gotten back control of the Panama Canal, got this great deal in Venezuela but still have gas prices going up higher than ever?
I thought Venezuela had just as much/more oil than the Middle East?
Plus, if AI is correct, we only get 2% of our needed supply through the Strait of Hormuz.
It's like if you are a Bar owner and go through 200 kegs of beer a week and then a supplier of two of those kegs said they can't deliver ever again so you raise your prices 30%?
The smell is off.
I'm sure there will be people that say this and that but it just doesn't make sense. it's always supply and demand, right? That's what we have always been sold.

Keep seeing the @JensenHuang video about just because it comes from scientists doesn’t mean it’s science is true. What is also true is why did Jensen buy Hugging Face when he did? Was it to save OS or hide what actually happened to Hugging Face?

How much does he depend on the companies/frontier models buying chips from him? Kinda weird timing isn’t it?

Using the @Hi3D_AI app for Mac and tried to generate a Lamp with the lamp plugin and got an error it wouldn't generate. I then tried to generate the lamp with a prompt. Asked me 5 different questions which is ok but took a longtime in between each question. Then it shows 6 steps and burned through a 110 tokens and still didn't get to the second step. i had to delete the app. Terrible first impression.

Side note is I tried the web app and it seemed ok. They had a deal on for the year at $75 so i gave it. Now it seems to have regressed. I am trying what i tried the first few times and they are not as good. The initial model generation is pretty good but the painting sucks and the break apart just doesn't work. Stylized texture was kinda close so passable if just playing around. Which actually brings up what the app is useful for, just playing around.
