Damn, am I excited! It’s all happening all over again! First comes the optimism, and then they start talking trash about crypto... The market bleeds, everyone claims crypto is dead—and then comes the explosion! Unexpected and surprising—my DigiByte bags are ready for takeoff! 🚀
DigiDollar needs 5 more oracle pubkeys to reach 35: DigiHash ID 28 + 4 independent operators for IDs 31-34. If you can run a reliable oracle, join the developer chat for instructions: https://t.co/93VPuVDfM7
Unfortunately people will have to sell $BTC to sit in cash to avoid the crash.
This is the problem $DGB DigiDollar fixes as the world's 1st Truly Decentralized TimeLocked stablecoin where you don't need to give up private keys or trigger a taxable event to raise $USD liquidity.
$DGB DigiDollar oracle roster update:
We’re keeping the oracle roster open until Wednesday, June 3 so more people can join before we close the list for the final testnet build headed toward mainnet.
Goal: 35 oracle operators.
Want to run an oracle?
1. Download DigiByte Core v9.26.0-rc43:
https://t.co/x4tVLZjy4V
2. Join the DigiDollar developer chat and ask for an assigned oracle ID:
https://t.co/MDXZ66usmk
Once you have your oracle ID:
1. Create/open a wallet named oracle
2. Run:
digibyte-cli -testnet -rpcwallet=oracle createoraclekey <your_oracle_id>
3. Send ONLY the returned public key
4. Keep your wallet backed up
Never share your private key.

RC43 lets operators generate oracle keys before activation so we can collect the final roster safely.
Alright $DGB fam we now have 21 oracles but it would be great to get to 28 by Monday. That will allow us to launch with a solid roster of a 7 of 28 oracle system & get DigiDollar in the wild.
We need everyone to step up before a final testnet version so everyone can get set up.
It could be worse. Imagine having 100% uptime and NEVER being hacked for 12+ years, only for the bottom to fall out because everyone is chasing shiny objects that won't change the world for the average person. I stick with Digibyte through thick and thin because it's truly decentralized to the core. I call it FREEDOM MONEY.
For the final $DGB DigiDollar TestNet release, we need to assemble the initial mainnet oracle group now.
The launch configuration needs 21, 28, or 35 oracles, with 7 random signature bundles used for validation.
This final TestNet is where we test the real configuration system, the oracle workflow, and make sure everyone understands how to run an oracle before MainNet launch.
Anyone joining the initial oracle group needs to understand this is not a short-term test role. Ideally, they should be willing and able to run their oracle reliably for 1 to 2 years, because once we launch, the oracle roster will be fixed until a future soft fork.
That means we need committed operators now, test the final setup together, and make sure everyone is comfortable with the process.
The current code works. Re-architecting it again would cost months of delays and expenses.
The practical path is to launch the proven system securely, with the final oracle configuration tested in public before MainNet. Then continue to iterate as more people start using DigiDollar.
