If you’re looking for a funny, heartbreaking, tragicomic, kind of sexy very queer theatre show to see during pride I recommend “Jerome” at Playwrights Horizons…

I triple dog dare a rich person to give me a bunch of money to get three other artists to buy some works of art as investment pieces and see how much they evaluate in 5-10 years.
Though I walk through the valley
of darkness I still must muster the strength to promote my work for sale as I schedule another payment arrangement for another bill I can’t afford to pay….

Still doing research on Degas and the exploitation of female bodies. Here I am standing next to the painting that piqued my curiosity rumored to have been originally titled “The Rape”.
SOS: Feels like my days of survival in NYC are coming to an end; I don’t want to suffer for my art anymore. Unless I sell my screenplay, get a full production of a play (and score an agent), or get an advance for my novel by next year, I’m going to have to leave.
Finished another play that I workshopped twice before the pandemic. It’s now half a period piece about #metoo and half a piece about the current sexual misconduct crisis
Building from the ground up over on substack, the new frontier. Posting my theatre work over there - which I typically don’t share publicly unless it’s part of a performance. Maybe there are avid readers out there who aren’t just into books and novels???
