We had an awesome time this weekend holding stalls at Exeter Respect Festival on Saturday and Exmouth Vegan Fair on Sunday.
It was great to meet so many people interested in what we do. Thanks to everyone that stopped by to chat and support us, we appreciate all of you!
Featured in The Times today, the yob behaviour of stag hunters culminating in the hunted stag being forced to jump screaming followers to escape. This footage was shown to the British Deer Society who condemned stag hunting as a form of deer management. https://t.co/BY1uImiksZ
This poor doomed stag was funnelled down a valley to a dead end of supporters lining the roads, forcing him to turn and run back below jeering support.
Just one of many disgraceful scenes at the Devon and Somerset Staghounds yesterday. w/ @devoncountysabs https://t.co/7DmJEmFHF2
Listen to the Devon & Somerset Staghounds followers' excitement as the hunted stag runs below. "What a king" one of them remarks. Well that king is dead now after being chased for almost 4 hours today. Not an old or injured stag they claim needs culling, A KING @devoncountysabs
The Quantock Staghounds were caught out illegally hunting with more than 2 hounds on Monday despite stag hunters claiming to have postponed the season to support farmers ravaged by the Bluetongue crisis. Footage from Wildlife Guardian here https://t.co/i9QAEsOZpp
If it's not hosting vegan festivals on shooting estates, or putting music stages next to badger setts, it's legitimising a genocidal settler colony, and being ableist to top it all off.
Nice one Vegan Camp Out.
Don't go to this shit.

Bluetongue outbreak - Stag hunts we are watching you!
Earlier this week Action Against Staghunting called out the hunts for planning to start hunting during the current Bluetongue virus outbreak.
So by 6am we were on Exmoor with @mendiphuntsabs@devoncountysabs to see.

The last few weeks have seen landmark court cases involving hare hunts, with the kennel huntsman of a private school beagle pack found guilty of illegal hunting after a hare was killed, and hunt sab’s footage securing the first ever conviction of a basset pack.
The convictions show a glimpse of what hunt saboteurs have witnessed across the country for the last two decades: that despite being made illegal by the Hunting Act 2004, hare hunting is still happening all over the place.
Unfortunately, loopholes within the law are exploited by hunts with them commonly claiming they are looking for rabbits, which is an exemption within the Hunting Act. There are many differences between hares and rabbits which debunk the smokescreen that hare hunts are currently attempting to use.
If the law is to work as intended, even by the standards of the legislation passed over 20 years ago, then all forms of hunting currently exempted in the Hunting Act must be removed or covered in any new law. Until then, Hunt Sabs will continue to be in the fields defending hunted wildlife.

The Wiltshire shooting estate caught snaring foxes and trapping and killing birds. Guess what - this estate is registered in a tax-haven, receiving UK subsidies - funded by YOU - the British tax payer. Read more here 👉https://t.co/JouN7yLwHW
During a cubbing meet in 2024, Henry Mayo a Hunt Master for the notorious Blackmore & Sparkford Vale Hunt violently pushed a female sab off a bank.
Throughout the video you can hear Henry mocking the sab. Despite all of this being caught on camera Henry was never brought to justice, as unfortunately is the case for so many instances of violence against sabs.
Hunts will go to extreme lengths to continue hunting as we have seen with the recent leaked minutes from a British Hound Sports Association (BHSA) board meeting. The minutes obtained by The Times appears to confirm that they are already looking to switch smokescreens to drag hunting.
Hunts will use whatever means necessary to kill wildlife, whether that be violence towards those who are stopping them or exploiting loopholes and flouting the law.
The sooner they are stopped the better.
The summer bloodsport season is well underway, with mink and otter hunts taking to the nation’s waterways from April to October.
The HSA are appealing to you - our eyes and ears in the countryside - for information. Whether it’s a post on social media or gossip overhead in a pub, no piece of information is too small to be of interest, and we treat all sources with 100% confidentiality.
If you hear a hunt is going to take place, or you’re out in the countryside and suspect you see or hear one of these hunts meeting or in progress, (eg. a collection of suspicious vehicles or hear a hunting horn and hounds on a river), then let Hunt Sabs know ASAP!

In 'strictly confidential' leaked British Hound Sports Association (BHSA) board meeting minutes seen by The Times, Viscount Astor told fellow board members, that if the government accepted an offer to change scent to "effectively drag hunting", ministers "could claim victory without the difficulty of legislation".
The HSA has warned throughout that hunt leaders are attempting to use drag hunting as the new smokescreen - they are hoping this would save the infrastructure whilst they wait for what they believe to be the next government - Nigel Farage's Reform, to repeal the ban and bring back fox hunting.
The government needs to ensure that its new legislation is watertight and permanent. Fox hunters will stop at nothing to be able to inflict cruelty upon wildlife for their own pleasure. Read The Times uncovering of the plot here 👉https://t.co/44Gm9cRgud

I don't know how it comes as a shock to you that those who are opposed to the oppression and abuse of animals, are also opposed to the oppression and abuse of humans.
I guess that would require an ounce of critical thinking that fans of Yaxley-Lennon clearly aren't capable of.
