Last week I was asked if we could take 2 golden retrievers who had been surrendered. As soon as I saw the video of them looking frail, broken and unwell I agreed. 2 very kind ladies fought for their freedom and drove the dogs to meet our team today.
The story is complicated and I won’t go into it here. What I can share is that a third sibling died. Although these 2 dogs look ok at first glance there are so many problems. Their fluffiness is covering some very malnourished and unhealthy dogs. Despite that their tails won’t stop wagging.
The ladies who saved them named them Bonnie and Clyde. The perfect names for 2 dogs on the run from their past and hoping to start a new life with us.
There are a lot more questions than answers right now for these 2. What I do know is that we will try our very best to save them, build them back up and make better lives for them. Bonnie and Clyde have had some early treatments and are sleeping beside each other in the hospital.
Let’s see what we can do 🤞❤️
🚨BREAKING NEWS:
I was just personally dismissed from the Macron lawsuit filed against me in Delaware.
This case represents one of the grossest, legal overreaches by a foreign government leader in human history—a sitting President’s attempt to personally bankrupt a single podcaster from outside the nation in which he governs.
And to formally reiterate since many reporters willfully lied about this most important detail: I was NEVER being sued for stating that Brigitte Macron was born a male. I was instead being sued for discussing MK Ultra and for allegedly accusing the “First Lady” of theft from her sister.
I am tremendously grateful to the Delaware courts and to the presiding Judge for looking at this case objectively, despite false media depictions and government pressures.
Anyone have an ebike? Thoughts? I expect I'm not the only cyclist getting older (65) and thinking it's time to get one. Very hilly where I live too. Most of the roads are gravel and we haven't invented cars yet, so gorgeously quiet. But steep.
Good grief. I'm reading my way through the Bible. I'm up to the gospels. I was wondering why on earth Jesus kept sitting down with publicans and why everyone kept objecting to it.
Apparently they're not owners of pubs.
@JJStance67@Arkypatriot Love it! I looked through my wardrobe the other day and realised I had enough clothes to see me out of this life. The relief of never having to enter a clothes shop ever again. So many positives to getting old.
@MrKwizera1 But don't forget to set a camera up first. Wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to portray yourself as hardly done by. I remember those nights as almost sacred, the quiet love between me and my babies, both of us awake together in the dark of the night.
@usuallypregnant I read the comments before posting this. I'm clearly in a minority of one. It must be an age thing. Last thing I wanted when giving birth was my husband in the delivery room. It's not an activity men need to/should witness.
@eagorajose17@andrewc44104127@grok I attended a Nuke, Bio and Chem war course. When being issued NBC suits, the instructor told us to keep the plastic wrap and elastic bands, because when we suffered radiation burns we could wrap them and carry on fighting.
That was the first time I considered emigrating to NZ.
@Strider_sdr10@gewoonmerels@grok The only reason we know about plague deaths in England is because the numbers are extrapolated from the number of monks that died. Deaths of monks were recorded. Very few other people could write. I doubt India had any way to know their population numbers or who died.
@JasonKPargin We once drove at 200mph in Germany, just because we could, but then got flashed to move over. NZ is maximum 60mph anywhere/everywhere. More road deaths per capita in NZ than Germany.
