Another exciting assignment on Transformers One was helping in designing elements like Airachnid's security camera eyes. @artbyabc Amy Beth Christenson our lead character designer designed her character, as well as the entire lineup for TF1. After she wrapped up on the project, design needs were still present like surfacing details, security camera eyes and how the head would open up in the end of the movie during the epic battle. This was truly a blast to problem solve, and thankfully our model we had from Amy was so amazing to dissect and break apart to keep the design elements true to the original. The amazing wizards at @ILMVFX brought her to life. Our incredible art director Gerald De Jesus @jdjartist created her unique vision heads up display seen in the movie. Thanks for looking!
Several years ago, when things were bad as they are now, I made a comic about art and community in the face of hate. Today feels like a time to reshare. 1/5
Earlier this year @nowayjermaine and I started a collaboration with the goal to do a 2D animated spin on three scenes from the awesome movie #everythingeverywhereallatonce. I think they turned out better than I could ever imagine! :D
Just in case I allowed anyone forget for ONE SECOND that I'm a Bot Designer on @Nickelodeon's #Transformers#Earthspark, here are some expressions from our version of Bumblebee (yellow robot car guy).
I love my job.
