I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t sad about this. It hurts no longer having a scouser in the starting 11 or in the squad, feels like a part of the soul in the team ripped out, albeit not the clubs fault.

I really hope we can find someone from the academy to bring this energy back.

@AnfieldSector Never took the next steps when in reality if you look at the stats he’s better than most midfielders in Europe. If he was called Jonesinho & cost £80m from Barca’s academy the talk around him would be very different. Massively underrated & under appreciated by many.
