@KrupnickJon Would the blame in autonomous weapons be similar to how blame would be assigned if something went wrong with an autonomous car for example? #cse252d3laws
Con1 pointed out that autonomous weapons are no better than their human counterparts. This is because they are unable to make humane decisions, which just is not true. Maybe there is some conflict in a given culture of what is humane, but it is possible to determine #cse252d3laws
Con team 1: Your argument made me think, would google have removed it is it was not an error? That was a strong argument that falls under your definition of an error, as it was artificially manipulated, and thus an inaccuracy #cse252d2algo
@CandyDeng4 Would your claim that it may be relevant to one group mean that it should be showing up in the search results and not an error? #cse252d2algo
@madisonsmith922 It was also mentioned by the same group that targeted advertising should be an opt-in process. This seems more like an opt-out process. Which is it really?
Is it really "in their best interests for companies to operate morally"? It is in the consumers best interest, but clearly not the company's. Companies are in it for the financial gain, and not in it for the users, and therefore will continue targeted advertising. #cse252d1priv
