Join Brigid & Deanna as we discuss and pray for reparation of blasphemies to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The show airs monthly on a @RelevantRadio affiliate.
@BelteshazzarAD@AMDG_Derek What? Repentance was called for by John the Baptist and by Jesus before He started His ministry and revealed Who He was. When you are called to repent, it means to turn away from sin and towards God. And, yes, for most people, repentance is a continual effort.
@riecker While this is possible, many scholars believe St. Peter to have been a widower when he encountered Jesus. This is supported by the Bible account where his mother-in-law appears to be in charge of his household, a duty usually reserved for the wife.
@namtrag@southtampa@Truth_matters20 Many did not believe the children of Fatima and they were tortured, but the children persisted in their prayers and sacrifices.
@ehansalytics@55MMAC@Pontifex Mary gave her fiat, her yes, so that the Incarnation of Christ would happen and the Kingdom would come to earth. Jesus did build the Church, but He chose to use human helpers, Mary being vastly important as her obedient yes undid Eveโs disobedience. (See Gen 3:15)
@ehansalytics@55MMAC@Pontifex Hmm but the Body of Christ is the Church. If Mary is our Mother and we are the Body of Christ, she is the Mother of the Church.
@55MMAC@ehansalytics@Pontifex We are adopted as sons and daughters of God (Eph 1:5).
Jesus is the son of God.
Jesus is our brother.
Our brotherโs mother is our mother.
Mary is Jesusโ mother, so she is also our mother. (See also John 19: 25-29)
@ehansalytics@Pontifex Jesus gave his mother to John, the beloved disciple, at the Cross. By extension, He gave us all to Mary as her children. If we are brothers and sisters of Christ, Mary is also our mother.
@Prophe1Jonathan@Pontifex Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
@tango_zulu@SW25745471@CatholicSat Except the Bible wasnโt written in English. The word is more accurately translated as โbrethrenโ or extended family like cousins, aunts, and uncles.
