Is there a hyper-local app that introduces you to people in the same apartment building or coffee shop?
Use case may be professional connections / dating / friendship
4 general tips when using AI:
1. Choose the right model and right "effort" for task
2. Define who you want the AI to be while answering the prompt
3. Write a good prompt
4. Provide examples to scope what the answer should look like.
Agnostic of use-case, will save time!
"why don't LLMs know what time it is?"
they know the date.
they don't know your timezone, or that 4 minutes passed between your messages.
context problem to solve.
Experiments in life for the most part, false negatives are costlier than false positives.
Maximizing the sample space, and getting more false positives doesnt hurt.
What an Australian summer it’s been, it’s been “meditative” to watch test cricket at its finest despite the skewed result.
Ashes keeping the best version of the game alive.
Absolutely insane work by Mitch Starc to bowl 5 tests on protein bars!
[Opinion] Merely exporting data from one AI platform to another won't solve cold start
Memory goes beyond a text blurb

@CapitalOne my account shows an active airline credit ($829) with a “Book with credit” option, but every attempt to use it fails with an error.
If a credit appears available but can’t actually be redeemed, how is a customer supposed to use it?

@AskCapitalOne Understood. The issue still isn’t resolved - the credit shows as active but I can’t book with flexibility. Adding to the confusion, the first few agents told me I didn’t even have a credit. Hoping this can be fixed internally, not just worked around.
@AskCapitalOne Thanks! Yes, I’ve had multiple calls and this was escalated to a supervisor. They can book it for me on specific dates, but I can’t book it myself despite the credit showing active and the portal saying "Ive the same access as anyone.” I need the same flexibility to book directly

@rankintweets As many have pointed out, its useful on flights to watch movies. However, if Mac Apps allow movie downloads (Prime does, but Netflix doesn’t), its last useful function will be lost too.
@rumilyrics Smart people have emotional needs that can be orthogonal to analytical thinking.
Listening to them, developing emotional bonds can go a long way to building a connection.
@zollotech It boosted my battery life. Didnt lose much.
I used:
1. Notification summary
I basically don’t use:
1. Genmoji
2. Proofread and summarize
3. ChatGPT + Siri
4. Photo search + background eraser
My time at Postmates taught me the 3 biggest hurdles to food delivery app growth:
1. Selection
2. Availability
3. Price

Defaults matter.
Storing chat history and allowing the model to train on data can be toggled "off" on frontier AI apps.
This is separate from the concept of "memory" which still persists outside chat history.
