We're delighted to share our SDG Advocate Training Impact Study (2018–2024), reflecting on seven years of supporting adult and community educators to take action for a fairer, more sustainable world.
Since its launch, the SDG Advocate Training has brought together educators, community workers and changemakers from across Ireland to learn, reflect and turn ideas into action. This Impact Study goes beyond the numbers, sharing the experiences of participants and exploring how the programme has influenced their work, their communities and their everyday lives.

What is the root cause of the challenges facing Drogheda? Dereliction? Pollution? Criminality? The dominant values help shape the behaviour(s) we all see. Help inform how communities should respond. ✊👍
What values matter most to the people of Drogheda?
Development Perspectives is carrying out a Community Values Survey to better understand the values that shape our community and how they influence the way we respond to social, economic, and environmental challenges.
We're looking for people across Drogheda to take part in this short survey. Your responses will provide valuable insights for community organisations, policymakers, and researchers seeking to develop programmes and initiatives that reflect the priorities of local residents.

That’s a wrap on our INVOLVIM Interregional Event in Co. Louth! 🌍🇮🇪
For two days, we brought together partners from 🇫🇮🇵🇹🇵🇱🇸🇮 and incredible local stakeholders to explore how "Third Places" (community gardens, sports clubs, adult ed) drive true, grassroots integration.
From dynamic workshops in Drogheda to field visits in Dundalk and Tallanstown, and a deeply moving Refugee Day celebration with LMETB students—the shared learning has been unforgettable.
Next up: turning this grassroots energy into lasting local policy! 🤝

There are so many inspirational Adult and Community Education leaders and practitioners across the Island contributing to a more equitable, just and sustainable world. This work is increasingly important. ✊
The SDG Advocates embarked on the 2nd stage of their seven-month Global Citizenship Education (GCE) training project. Gathered at the ancient battleground of Moytura, a place steeped in myth, courage, and transformation, they stand at the threshold of their own adventure. Like the heroes of old, they hear and accept the call to adventure, stepping beyond the familiar into a journey of learning, leadership, and global responsibility. Inspired by the legacy of those who once faced great challenges on this sacred ground, the Advocates began a quest that will test their skills, deepen their understanding, and empower them to become champions for the Sustainable Development Goals in their communities and beyond.
