@Sedi24229@AnimeTokki the plot is not very interesting in frieren though. not that deep either. I enjoy the vibes but thats kinda it. for wha Ive really enjoyed pretty much everything: chars, world, magic etc. The plot is very slow (filled with character moments tho) but thats one of the things I like
@ded515@klemenceth50373@PinkoJack92@freedomhouse thats a financial track record, not an overall surveillance backed system that evaluates your person as a whole (to see if you have contradicting views to the government or not)
@cattieroguy@klemenceth50373@PinkoJack92@freedomhouse and to mention other things, using mainstream sites is strictly prohibited and can be jailed for accessing stuff behind the great firewall, protests are almost illegal (if it does not align with CCP views it's illegal) and way too many things i cannot fit inside even 40 tweets
@cattieroguy@klemenceth50373@PinkoJack92@freedomhouse you quite literally have drones, announcement systems, public screens etc announcing wrongdoings on the street and saying that you are being monitored and logged for further investigation
@cattieroguy@klemenceth50373@PinkoJack92@freedomhouse you are actively monitored on the street through CCTVs and assigned or deducted points based on what you do. you are constantly monitored, especially if you use the internet in any capacity. security checkpoints download your whole phone's data along a million more things
@klemenceth50373@PinkoJack92@freedomhouse I'm sorry but no..? While yes privacy invasion is insane in both europe and the US, China is on a whole different level. Have you ever read about what they got going on there? The social credit system is quite literally one of the tamest things they do.
@PinkoJack92@freedomhouse While China as an economy is doing great things, on a societal level it's highly disturbing, at least to me. There are way too many restrictions, regulations and overall privacy invasions that just seem disgusting to me.
