I don’t actually care about the Qur’an at all. Jesus Christ is everything. All I need is the Old Testament and the New Testament. And the writings of the Catholic Saints.
At the end of the day every man will answer to Lord Jesus. I’m not the judge but He is. So I will not judge you for your beliefs, but I do judge Islam and Muhammad according to the scriptures in the Bible. When I see Muhammad preaching a new gospel I can’t help but damn it because the Bible warns not to follow it (even hundreds of years before Islam).
I don’t blame you I blame Muhammad.
Better we just end this conversation because I can tell you certainly there is no way to the Father in Heaven except through His Son Jesus Christ. I’d convert to Christianity if I were you.
Did you know the tradition of Ramadan in Islam was copied from Lent in Christianity? The history doesn’t lie. So I think you need the Holy Bible more than I need the Qur’an.
@sansoroi@MasterMaliq To clarify we’d have to review 2,000 years of the Catholic Church’s history. Very smart people have been trying to define what “Son of God” could mean. I think the contemporary understanding is best put in your 3rd point, That He is God (the Trinity). I am agreement with that.
@sansoroi@MasterMaliq Don’t you see the contradiction in the Qur’an? Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and the angel of the Lord but you say He’s not the son of God?
I think you made a bright remark on Thanos’ logic. I never thought of a better solution like you did. I just thought or remember thinking him and his cronies were sick and twisted. They twisted the whole concept of salvation into a justification for murder… psychopaths do the same.
@ewenmind Remember when at the beginning of the movie and Thanos is killing all the men on the ship… his priest or right hand man or whatever says something like, “here is your salvation” as he executes them. I think their logic speaks for itself in that scene.
No I didn’t actually. I just assumed Pharos built the Giza pyramids to make tombs for themselves since every other pyramid was used for this purpose. I’m not saying I believe you. My answer would still be the same and even if none were found to this day, how would anyone expect to find the chamber with the remains? It would be impossible to do without destroying the pyramid. What would be the point?
I’m not talking about Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden because this is a very personal myth/genealogy/history for me.
I read the verse in Surah 19 and it seems to say Mary was a virgin. So I was wrong… the Muslim religion really does believe Jesus Christ was born of a virgin.
Do you know where it says in the Qur’an Jesus Christ was only a prophet and not God’s son?
Thanks… sorry I misread your earlier reference. I’ll look at Surah 19 Ayah 20. I thought you gave me Surah 20. I could be wrong about Mary in the Qur’an. I’ll also look at the other two references you just gave me. I’d be surprised because… how can Jesus Christ not be the son of God if He was conceived by a virgin? Anyway I’ll talk to you about this after when I’ve read the Surahs.
