So yesterday I prompted Claude to replicate existing functionality we have in our NextJs app into a React Native app so we could also have Android and iOS mobile apps for @devshipyard

Initial thoughts, spent a lot of time back and fourth (Opus 4.5 Thinking)

It did get it right after a lot of direction and manual testing but GPT-5.2-High would have gotten this right in one shot.

GPT in my opinion is a lot better at understanding big complex codebases and refactoring.

Regardless the result was still optimal with Claude and in all honesty 8 hours of total time spent to get a complete React Native app going is nuts.

There comes a time in a founders life where you sit back and admire the great user experience you have created.

In this case im actually sitting back and realizing I have replaced my self. 😅
