I’m the first intern in history to get laid off. Yesterday, I learned my role and the entire Amazon AGI SF Lab was eliminated.

My time here was amazing. I was given a lot of autonomy and I owned projects in RL infra, RL envs, and cluster infra.

The team was so talent dense and I learned from some of the brightest I’ve ever met.

I remember so many times where people would be shocked to learn that I was an intern. That same lack of ego allowed us to build out some of the most remarkable feats in research/engineering.
