Spoiler: they weren't able to find her. And the mother is dead.
There are so many things I can rant about but let me stop.
In short, this book isn't for me.
I'm irritated after reading "Please look after Mom" by Kyung-Sook Shin.
I do understand the message of the book, it's just I can't relate to the characters for taking their mother/wife for granted.
Do they not understand the struggles & sacrifices of a mother? Or her dreams & wishes?
After she got lost, that's the moment they reflect what their mom really means to them. Ofc, they're filled with regret, despair, guilt, yada yada.
Just finished reading "If cats disappeared from the world" by Genki Kawamura. Such a bittersweet story. It made me cry. Damn it! 😭😭😭 Makes you really think hard what matters most in life.
Mourned a couple of days coz I finished reading "More days at the Morisaki Bookshop". Damn! The sequel is so good.
I'll check out the other works of the author too.
(TBR list getting longer...haha 🙃)
