I booked a flight from las Vegas to Corpus Christi for August 9, 2026. There was a layover in Denver. Flight 2350 from Las Vegas to Denver was to leave at 06:00AM and land in Denver at 09:05Am. we were informed there was a mechanical issue and they were switching planes. After much confusion as to which gate to depart from we finally had a gate. Then we were infomred that since the plance was origianlly going to Austin, there was too much fuel and we had to take a much longer route to burn fuel to be at a safe landing weight once we arrived in Denver. Our connecting flight from Denver to Corpus Christi, 1598, deprated on time at 11:38AM, however our flight did not make it to the gate until about 11:45AM and we missed our flight to Corpus Christi. I called Frontier, as there was no one in the airport that could help and was told they could either rebook us to Corpus Christin on August 13th, 2026 (4 days later) or we could get a refund. They were not sure at the time what the refund would be in dollar and/or miles. I asked to be rebooked to San Antonio and then my niece could drive 2 hours to pick us up and was told no. This is actually closer to Denver than Corpus Chrsti. I was also told no food vouchers, no hotel options. We decided to book our own Frontier flight to Denver at the cost of $526 total for the two of us and decided to try to resolve later as we needed to be in Corpus Christi to get my nice back to California (driving) the next day. I was told I would get $134 back and 22,500 miles. Unacceptable. I am even willing to spilt the share and request a refund of $392 and forgo the miles, which would make me whole, as this was the fault of the airline, not mine. It was mechanical and their resolution at the time was simply unfair, unacceptable and rude. They expected me to either stay 4 days in Denver, or just get a refund and fend for myself. At the least they should have rebooked me to San Antonio and refused to do so.

@planterspunch7@JettPlain9@LangmanVince Asking a city for money to build a stadium, arena, ballpark is nothing new. Sometimes they get it, sometimes they do not. The economic roi to the city is worth the investment. That is until the city gets wild in their spending and it so gotta to shit.
@chriswallace@realannapaulina You're a fucking moron to want that type of invasion of privacy. If you think our government will use this only for drunk driving or some other holy proclamation, you the biggest fucking moron on the planet.
