I used to think Web3 gaming was dead.
For a long time, I couldn't understand why I should play blockchain games.
Then I tried Maze of Gains on @AbstractChain .
And honestly, it changed my mind.
MoG 1.0 was already a lot of fun. But what impressed me even more was what came next.
@Skarly actually listened to the players.
He took the things people wanted to see, the feedback from the community, and turned it into MoG 2.0.
More depth.
More systems.
More decisions.
More reasons to come back.
And it doesn't feel like I'm playing just to grind some rewards.
MoG is the only blockchain game I actually want to play.
That's a big difference.
I'm playing because I enjoy the game itself.
And now look at what's happening with Deed Season.
Over $1,000,000 has already been spent on the season.
Think about that for a second.
A Web3 game event hitting a million dollars in spending while people are actually playing, competing, farming and interacting with the game.
That's pretty crazy.
And this is why I'm starting to believe that Web3 gaming isn't dead at all.
Maybe we just needed people who cared about making good games first.
And @Skarly keeps building.
MoG is here. https://t.co/PkscSBZttJ
@YieldFields_RH is coming to Robinhood.
Onchain Heroes is expanding toward an open world.
https://t.co/cxF45wQ4nx
And there's clearly much more coming.
That's what makes me excited.
Because if the same philosophy that went into MoG carries over to Yield Fields and the next stages of Onchain Heroes...
I think we're in for something special.
@Skarly isn't just making games for Web3.
He's showing what Web3 games can actually become when the focus is on the players.
And honestly, that's the part I care about most.
Thank you, @Skarly , for all these amazing moments and emotions. ❤️
Can't wait to see what's next. 👀
@PxPaws , I might actually be one of those 25 idiots 😂
I was editing the form at 4 AM and updated it three times just to add my posts, so there’s a very real chance I accidentally clicked “Yes.”
Can you check if I’m on the list?
Would suck to make three pieces of content and get disqualified because of one accidental checkbox lol.
This is what a MoG run actually looks like.
Made a couple of mistakes here, but nothing serious
If you don't rush your moves, these runs are honestly pretty easy. Once you get used to the mob patterns, getting to floor 10 and taking down Sir Jackalot isn't that hard
Take your time, don't panic, and the Maze is way easier than it looks

Deed Season is live in @onchainheroes and I've been spending way too much time in MoG lately
If you're new to the game, this is probably one of the better times to try it
There are 850 Yield Fields WL spots on the line, and you don't have to play the exact same way as everyone else
Here's what I've figured out so far

@rafflecarbide@onchainheroes There's no fixed number since the leaderboard keeps moving. I'd keep farming and watch the current cutoff rather than aiming for one exact number

u can grind Corn and chase the Silo.
You can turn Corn into Raffle entries.
You can fish for Eve Keys.
Or just mix everything together and see what works for you.
There are 850 WL spots total:
575 through the Silo
275 through the Raffle
So I'm just going to keep playing, watch the leaderboard
Deed Season ends Sept 28 at 4 PM UTC.
Good luck in the Maze
Corn isn't the only thing you can chase during Deed Season
If you have a Genesis Hero, there's another route I actually find pretty cool
Send your Hero fishing at Primora Shores and you have a chance to pull an Eve Key
Those keys can then be used for the Eve Keys Raffle
I like that
