@lizrianne It’s also full of lame ass females who like to shake their ass for likes and attention with shit else to offer. The weirdo males are the ones who give it to them. It goes both ways for real.
Nah man. 💯 % no. I don’t care what anyone says before and after my comment… they are wrong if they think organic is always superior. I grow both depending on the situation. Been at it for 23 years. It flops back and fourth. If your organic is better then your synthetic , your doing your synthetics wrong. I’d challenge anyone to a duel… there cuts or my cuts. And I would guarantee there organic won’t blind test better then my synthetics every time. People will argue until they are blue in the face. But the healthier happier plant with a proper cure will win. Sometimes it’s the organic and sometimes it’s the synthetic, and if it leaned one way that one time, some people think it answered the question. But it takes much more than that one time.
@smokesalot421 I won a giveaway not too long ago and dude flaked on me and gave me excuses and future promises. Figured it wasn’t worth raising hell about considering there was no loss on my end. But still, pretty fucking lame to lie just to promote your shit.
💯 % reveg rate after harvest. Sometimes I just don’t have the room or the patience to clone 50 backups to take care of while doing a 50 plant pheno hunt. If I’m actually working the line in a breeding project this is my preferred way. By the time the initial harvest is dry and cured for Pheno selection, The reveged back ups are also ready to cut clones and polinate to work the next filial generation. When selecting the prized pheno a lot can change after the dry and cure. So I don’t mind the 6 to 8 week reveg wait because it takes me that long to choose the best pheno anyways.
Yeah I’ve had a few recently as well. I think some people think it’s cool and must breed with them lately. Never seen them pop up 10 to 20 years ago. But in the past 5 years I’ve been having a few show their face. For everyone asking. It’s a mutation called Fasciation. Often mistaken for a polyploid. They grow dumb leafy sub par buds for the most part. At least on the effected growth. Wide thin ribbon like structure that often shoots double to triple amount of nodes instead of the typical stagger. Here is some shots of some recent ones I grew. Pretty wild looking but definitely not anything I’d hope to come across.
Yeah it’s a mutation called Fasciation. They grow some pretty wild looking buds. But tend to be really leafy and pretty lame. Instead of alternating nodes it throw out tons of nodes at all different directions causing leafy buds. The stem will grow in a thin but wide kind of ribbon shape. Here a few pics of some that I flowered.
@Obiwanbesmokin@ElevatedExpdton It’s actually not a polyploid it’s a mutation called Fasciation. They don’t tend to really yield any better. And the buds usually become super leafy which is kind of a turn off. But lots of times it’s just one stem/branch and all the side shoots grow normally.
@Ben_grows 2 x 8 inch exhaust fans moving air from room to outside. I ditched the co2 once I moved into a bigger space. Don’t really see the need to go back to it with my new space.
Not really what I’d call serious / saddening. But I will say there has been times I don’t smoke cause I’m stressed about something. Work or financial hardships or bumps in the road type shit. When I get high I super fixate on that stressor and it gives me what I think might be anxiety. It really forces me to get life back on track before I can enjoy smoking again. Now one small hit is all I can take for the first bowl of the day. Then throughout the day my tolerance slowly goes up. Second bowl of the day might be one big hit, and by the end of the day I’ll hit it maybe 3 times. Next day it always resets. I can’t build a tolerance. At least once I month I push it too far and get the spins. I would be sick as a dog if I smoked a whole joint. I might smoke a whole joint in several sessions throughout the whole day. I smoked a lot as a kid through my early 20s. Quit for a couple years and started again once I got serious into growing. Ever since that 2 or 3 years off my tolerance has been crazy.
@CashmanH8 Some of my best times are spent alone. Just got to find what makes you happy alone. Then finding people to share those times with is just a plus. But you can still thrive without them.
Outdoor garden was kind of a bust this year. Took so long to warm up and stunted most of my plants. But the water melons are poppin! Love coming out here to check on them. I built a trellis with the old trampoline frame I’ve been meaning to trash. Had a storm come through and knock a few off so I started to support them with these mesh hammocks.

@UnorthadoxDude I’ll throw them in the flower room at week 3 for only 4 days of 12/12, then go back to the veg room. It will force them to show sex earlier without going through a wonky reveg period. Then cull the males and continue veging the females as long as I want.
People will always argue it, but I cure in tubs and then dry trim. Night and day difference how loud dry trimmed bags are vs wet trimming then curing. Whatever stank you wake up during the dry trim really sticks around vs wet trimmed and cured. I’ve done both over the past 20 years and the outcome is always the same. I still wet trim to get a jump start on the trim labor so I can trim over a month or two and not be overwhelmed with large harvests. But at least 70% of my harvest is trimmed after cure, and always better than the wet trim batches.
@LIBERALHUNTEER I’ve seen several places sell them online. But I’m not sure which ones are legit or not. I just know precious cactus is legit. they sell grown ones as well as seeds. But the live ones seem a bit pricier than what you posted. But it all really comes down to size.
I love growing so much more than just cannabis. My only rule to the wife is, it ain’t going in the garden unless I can smoke it or eat it. Here is some peyote I grew from seed about two years old. It can take 7 plus years for maturity. Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to eat them. not gonna lie, they make me a little nervous lol. What else yall got popping off in your grow room?
@TheUpperVault That’s pretty wild. You grow enough plants you’re gonna run into plenty of herms. Sometimes it’s the genetics and sometimes it’s on the grower. But to band the word just seems like such a worse look then taking it on the chin and pulling that line and doing better next time.
@MMicrogrow I run 3 x 600 watts and 1 x 800 watt light with two 8” inline fans, and a portable air conditioner and my electric seems to be maybe $80 to $100 more a month. I dont see you even being able to notice a difference in your set up.
