Had to come on here to share some #transhistory joy from my students' final. Tracing ✨ glimpses & glimmers ✨ of trans life from antiquity to the present, they were tasked w/ recreating objects (real or speculative) to display in a Trans Histories Museum.

@Manosij1729 @PratitiTiyas My family doesn't add onions to the maach'er shorsher jhaal, but my Mom's pishi (also Bangal) used to do a shorsher jhol with deem that used peyaj er rosh. Could be regional differences and diasporic modifications?
