Odd socks today to raise awareness of anti- bullying. We listened to the story of Monty the Manatee and talked about what bullying means. We thought about who we could talk to if we felt we were being bullied.

We started work on poetry today. We have started to learn the first part of The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear. Ask your child to recite it for you.
Today we learnt about Victorian toys and then we got to play with some. It was interesting to find out the differences between toys today and toys in the Victorian times!
The children really enjoyed making Owl on toast. Tomorrow we are going to write instructions on how to make it. Ask your child if they can tell you what ingredients they used, what equipment they used and how they made it.
