Another great year at AVID National Conference!! Excited to support our principals as they work towards building a culture for AVID in their building and implementation of WICOR with their students and teachers!
Principal Network Meetings are my absolute favorite. The energy, collaboration, and celebrating those proud moments of school successes were evident last week. Love this group ❤️
Ruby Bridges reflection walk at Quindaro Elementary. Students so beautifully shared their thoughts on the signs posted along the fence. Students felt valued, heard, and seen today!
AVID Principal Collaborative:
The session had ended and our KCKPS principals were still engaged in site team planning conversations. The power of true networking and collaboration was evident when working with this group. #LaserFocus#
Collaboration and Calibration in the Closet @MEPearsonEleme1 🐯 Appreciative of all the colleagues I get to work with every day in creative ways supporting high quality Tier 1 instruction @kckschools@dezarea26@suzie_legg
A wonderful day of collaboration, classroom visits, and planning around AVID Implementation. Super thrilled that our Elementary schools were present today!
The YMCA has partnered with Lowell Brune to provide 2nd graders with 6 weeks of lessons regarding swim safety. Week 2, the safety topic was week “Reach or Throw, don’t go.” If we have a friend in the water who may need help; we should NOT enter the water to help them.
August...its a wrap... Part 2
I spy....
1. Strong routines and procedures
2. Sensory wall that will support all students
3. Ensuring safe traffic patterns for arrival/dismissal
✔️✔️ on track for success!
@BannekerPanther did an amazing job showing honor and respect to Ofc. Simonic. He will be greatly missed, and his impact on students will always be remembered.
Thank you Principal Pughsley for your strength and leadership during this time.
@BannekerPanther did an excellent job honoring Ofc. Simonic. His support to our students will never be forgotten. It was beautiful to witness the gratitude, respect, and tears for an officer who dedicated his time to our students and served our community.
