My non-gamer wifey finally decided to give gaming a try. Her daughter gave her suggestions - great cozy games that were probably her speed. One after another, she was bored to tears.
Yesterday she discovered Diablo IV. Oh, it's all over now. ๐
(3/3) There's a lot of work ahead, but that's always been the fun part. I couldn't be more excited about where we're headed, and I can't wait until we're able to share more.
Now... back to writing. โ๏ธ
(1/3) I've been smiling ever since @BethesdaStudios shared our look at what's ahead.
I feel incredibly fortunate to spend my days writing stories for Starfield, helping shape the next chapter of The Elder Scrolls, and laying the groundwork for the future of Fallout.
(2/3) I don't take that responsibility (or that opportunity) for granted.
These worlds have been a huge part of my life for a long time, and every project is another chance to create characters, quests, and moments that players will (hopefully!) remember for years.
Long ago, I wanted to work for Bethesda because of my deep love of first-person fantasy RPGs. Didn't realize at the time - Bethesda was really one of the only developers making them. So to play a cool first-person fantasy RPG I haven't worked on is SUCH a gift.
