Teachers: Please remove the disruptive student so others can learn.
Admin: Everyone needs seat time, so we sent him back after a restorative conversation.
Teachers: Johnny has only been here 5 days this semester. He’s going to fail with a 20.
Admin: Seat time doesn’t matter. Just give him a 70. We don’t want him to drop out.
Teachers: We have to stop passing students along. I have students on wildly different levels.
Admin: It’s okay, you can differentiate.
Teachers: It’s impossible to differentiate for 30 kids across 10 levels. Can you come show me how?
Admin: (After a 10-minute walk-through) Email: Try discovery-based learning and really focus on student discourse. Also your objective was not written on the board.
Admin: We have a lot of open positions on campus. Please be prepared to cover classes during your conference period if we can’t find long term subs. Also, make sure your lesson plans are uploaded, 504/Sped accommodations are documented, parent contact logs are updated, and grades are posted in a timely manner.
Schools: We don’t know why there is a teacher shortage.
6 year old son took a baseball to the ankle from his coach throwing to 1st
He forgot to keep running and slowed down
One of the worst pains I've seen him in, tears flowed
Wife and other mothers were horrified, they started to move over to console him
Like a conductor in an orchestra, I waived them off, some gasped as if it was disrespectful
Kneeled next to him, took a look, all good
Waited for pain to subside
Me: You good?
Him: It hurts ...
Me: Did you slow down running to 1st?
Him: I think so
Me: Guess that won't happen again huh?
Him: No, I'll keep going
Some may have seen the waiving off the mothers as disrespectful, but it was a moment for my son to sit with discomfort and reflect
Parents are too quick to take away every little pain, then wonder why their kids aren't resilient
More than likely, he'll never slow down running to first again, the pain is imprinted
Good
🚨🇮🇱🇺🇸 BREAKING: ISRAEL'S CHIEF RABBI wrote a condolence letter about CHARLIE KIRK'S DEATH on September 2nd, 8 days BEFORE the ASSASSINATION.
The Hebrew calendar date 9 Elul, 5785 corresponds with September 2, 2025.
The letter is still LIVE on Israel Heritage Foundation (@IHF_Heritage) X account.
Mystery solved… I think we can put the ring thing to rest now.
The ring on Charlie’s finger was something called a hinge ring that opens. This can be seen at other events he’s had.
The ring did not switch fingers. It merely opened upon impact, and it simply decoupled from his ring finger. I’ve watch it many times and you can actually see it decouple frame by frame.
Hat tip to anons on the chans and @Spencer_Medici
