@bikerwise @ThatVDOVault Well, maybe keep looking - groups can be as diverse as the people who lead them. We did 'The Lion Sleeps tonight' this week at mine and here's the thing: some remembered The Tokens and others (younger generation carers) Tight Fit from the 80s... #AlzChat

@bikerwise @ThatVDOVault ..that's not to say that musical activities shouldn't include a wide enough variety of songs that hopefully cover all eras remembered by the group.

@bikerwise @ThatVDOVault I'm guessing here, but I'm wondering if there is a large age-range in the group with which your husband is singing? Add on to that that someone may remember music they heard their parents listening to when they were young & you'd be amazed how far people's musical memory can go!

Phones with clear buttons where photos can be placed so that PLWD can just push the button associated with the photos to call their loved ones

@TommyTommytee18 Interestingly there was an article about health apps in the paper in the last couple of days. It suggested that for some people this may make them more anxious about the quality/length of sleep they had. Have you got any tips as to how to get best use of the app?

@ZkidooKreativ @SrCareCorner Until recently I'd only read about this, never seen it. I would love to get dark rugs (black holes) banned but we're all so wary of muddy feet entering public buildings, I'm not sure what success I'd have... #AlzChat

@ZkidooKreativ #AlzChat One recent innovation to us that we are using is a small whiteboard that I write on to explain where I am to stop my husband wandering around looking for me. Peaceful showers at last!

@TommyTommytee18 ..I loved the Pink Floyd heartbeat image - Dark Side of the Moon. I think ppl remember really good images as well as they do the music they accompanied. Not everything has to be high tech #AlzChat
