@EvanDrellich Share the spreadsheet! How do you calculate that? The most transparent side (that tells the truth) should win in the court of public opinion.
@EricMacramalla How are future year cap hits calculated? If a player contract has front loaded salaries, does the acquiring team still have to count the AAV even if they are not paying that much cash?
@JonHeyman@Joelsherman1 Point of the union is not to make sure LeBron maxes out. It is to represent all players. Their arguments that they care about young players or competitive balance are BS. Boras only cares about lining his pocket from the highest paid players.
@DailyFaceoff@TJKu29 Competitive? They lost the Gold medal game in OT after giving up a late tying goal in a game where shots were almost even. They were clearly competitive. The headline is silly.
@WGR550 I thought since it was “objectively false” that no sacrifices need to be made when you have a QB making $50 million that we should just resign them all and sign a WR and DE….
@hsimon62 Several things can be true at once:
1) Goodell not going to bad mouth his officials
2) They are good and make a lot of surprisingly good calls
3) Game is too fast and rules too vague/complex that they still miss too many calls and are too inconsistent which affects games.
@EWood70@AaronQuinn716@danfetes Keep up the good fight Eric. I’m sure people will say you are being a company man but it’s nice to hear sensibility and reason from someone who’s been in the locker room. The haters are having a good time with today. They need to have villains to feel better about themselves.
@AaronQuinn716 They can’t help themselves. When your analysis is as lazy and shallow as these “national” commentators, they seem to feel they need to be over the top to get any attention. Tiresome.
