22+ years ago I made a small multiplayer game on the Dreamcast. The younger me had big plans for what the game should be. Plans that were first postponed, then forgotten. I was recently reminded of and got the opportunity to begin realising those plans:
@ninjadynamics If you ever go for a vacation in the northern part of Denmark I’ll make sure to set you up for an experience of a lifetime. A close friend of mine has the, without question, largest exhibition of all the classical arcade machines you can imagine. https://t.co/bkQiRbLaRE
@falco_girgis The thing I did "proove" is that running SFX through good DSP programs is super easy to setup and run on the AICA. It is just setting the DSP sequence and the right register bank settings for that channel. But the good DSP sequences I had were 'borrowed' from commercial games :-/
Looking for alternatives to @Ubiquiti that can match them technically but have a stronger ethical track record regarding Russia’s war against @Ukraine. If you’ve switched away from @Ubiquiti, what did you move to, and how has it worked out? #homelab#networking
@CombyLaurent1 Where are you at in the world, I have some spare GD-ROM drives and I wouldn’t mind sending you one or two, for science ;)
I’ll try to pick from the least used machines that I have.
DM me if you’re interested.
@maximilian_@nhamaguc@finalfantasyvii I just came up with a question I care about the answer to: Are we going to get closure on Leslie and his fiancée?
(A little late, I know ;))
@falco_girgis I remember reading stories about the keyword inline being a false placebo for programmers, and that the compiler were so good now that they’d always do better in general than what people can manage. Maybe that holds for modern more complex CPU’s? Makes me love the SH4 even more.
