On 12/2/16 36 people died in the Ghost Ship Fire. The warehouse had been illegally sublet into living spaces w/wooden studs, steel beams, & furnishings. The bldg had no smoke detectors, fire alarms or sprinklers, only 2 exits, & had not been inspected. #FireHistory#NeverForget
It's a fact: if your smoke alarm was manufactured before December 1, 2014, it needs to be replaced! Check the back of your alarm for the manufacture date.
