Sources: The Edmtn Oilers are consulting with the NHLPA to see if there are objections that must be resolved before potentially hiring Mike Babcock. Amid allegations of invading players privacy, Babcock resigned in CBJ as Head Coach in 2023. Further investigation may be required.

1) Common sense says that puck is across
2) you can't say it is a goal after meeting for a couple of mins when the guy behind the net didn't call it.

All this goalie talk, you could put me in net and it wouldn't matter. This team has zero desire to play anything close to defensive hockey. And when they finally get the puck they are convinced the goal only counts if you made a low percentage pass prior to it. #LetsGoOilers
