@gregallenRTE @GolfIreland_ At this years West Qualifier the morning starters had better conditions, strong easterly winds but the afternoon starters had strong westerly winds and heavy rain. Very few qualifying in the afternoon. PCC of 1 didn’t make sense if you played in those afternoon conditions.

@gregallenRTE @GolfIreland_ Dooks Junior/Intermediate Scr Cup on Saturday had a PCC of 3. Very windy all day. Problem I see with PCC is it takes in the whole days scores which does not reflect on actual conditions at your time of playing. Morning calm, afternoon very windy as an example.

@amateur_info Two main faults are (1) Casual Rounds counting for Hcp. & (2) Some courses are not properly rated, therefore some inflated handicaps.

@AndyRoweOnline Yes but pre “Pro Rugby” a forward pass was forward and refs called it so. Now TMO looks at hands actions etc even it’s blatantly forward. Not straight at non contested line outs is play on. Scrum feeds into 2nd rows ! where is the game going.

@ConorDonegal @SportsJOEdotie Yes, but that was after replays shown on Stadium TV, no replays of other situations which may have gone against France, potential forward pass and knock on at try times, a debatable line out in first half when replay stopped just before ball goes into touch and a clean out of TB

@Rugby_Scoop One debatable line out in the first half, no replay of ball going into touch. We had two reviews from TV in second half where the booing from the crowd led to reviews. TV directors must be impartial and not selective. France always best team btw.

@jim_demps The question here is what Munster player was “taking the space”. Both Munster players holding the ball carrier before tackle call were cleaned by Toulon support player exposing ball for Beirne , therefore play on. It may not have looked right to the Ref but it was a poor call.
