Today marks the 82nd anniversary of the Allied attack known as D-Day.
So many left the farm fields and village streets of Nassau to fight through an unimaginable hell to change the world.
We remember their stories. We remember their sacrifice.
Throughout this 220th year of the founding of Nassau, we continue to honor the memory of those that have been the fabric of our community.
One of the practical ways we do this, is our implementation of Nassau’s Veterans Marker Restoration Program.
