Free #Medical Camps were organized at Ghoomsimana & Rimbick Forest Ranges of #Darjeeling Forest Division on 5th and 6th of May 2018. The camps were led by Mr.Mukherjee & Medical Team from NB Medical #College. About 250 people were benefited, free Medicines were also distributed.

Tourist guide training program was organized by Darjeeling Forest Division (5th to 20th March 2018) for 20 unemployed youths from Forest Protection Committee areas. They got exposure in various subjects ranging from trekking, hospitality, river rafting...to bird watching
Huge amount of plastic wastes are being dumped into Forest areas. Its time to convert waste into usable products. Some of them like..Making small trekking pillows, bottle bricks, compost making etc..
On 24th February 2018 Darjeeling Forest Division along with Volunteers from India hikes had organised a plastic waste awareness campaign for the Forest protection committee members. In one hour forest officials, FPC members and Volunteers could collect 20 bags of plastic waste.!
