Dr. Samrat Gowda D. S., RCCF, Sambalpur Circle, along with the Divisional Forest Officer, Rourkela K.L. Division, inspected Kendu Leaf binding and Central Godown operations in Sundargarh K.L. Range AND interacted with field staff and Kendu Leaf workers.

Ongoing Processing, Binding & Bagging (PBB) work at various Binding Centres under Rourkela K.L. Division. Continuous supervision and monitoring are being carried out to ensure proper processing, quality maintenance, uniform binding, and of Kendu Leaves for better market value.

Field demonstration of Processing, Binding & Bagging (PBB) by DFO & ACF, Rourkela K.L. Division, at Mayabahal of balisankara, Jharmunda Phadi of Kinjirkela and Bandega Phadi of Lephripara KL Range to ensure quality, uniformity and efficiency in Kendu Leaf operations. 🌿

A coordination meeting on PBB (Processing, Binding & Bagging) Training was held at Gadapali Binding Centre, Khutgaon K.L. Range with participation of Rajamuda & Bonai K.L. Range staff. Training was conducted under the guidance of DFO, Rourkela K.L. Division .

Plucking operations commenced on 13.04.2026 at Rourkela K.L. Division, with field teams actively engaged in systematic and sustainable leaf collection across the ranges.
