@HISSING_PRIGS IMO I do think the black midified thing is relevant insofar as fans are fixating on Geordie/cameron as a parasocial idol who gets objectified and caricatured at the expense of appreciating the band’s music
The success of ants from up there/bcnr, the new sound/greep, and cameron winter’s vocals specifically indicates to me that the people yearn for THEATRICS in performance that aren’t confined to stage tricks and gimmicks. The theatrics of musicality! THEATRICAL!
