CBP officers discovered 40 boxes containing 15,000 rounds of ammunition in one vehicle and 44 boxes containing 28,000 rounds of 7.62x39 ammunition in another.
A total of 43,000 rounds stopped at the port.

A scan anomaly and K9 alert sent a vehicle to secondary.
Inside trunk mirrors, CBP officers discovered 53.97 lbs of fentanyl pills, about 225,693 pills. Not the kind of reflection we are looking for.

On March 28th, a traveler at @DFOTucson had the audacity to arrive to the U.S. with 63 lbs. of meth concealed in their vehicle’s door and fuel tank. @cbp multi-layered approach to national security shut it down fast. OFO never misses a beat.

Our CBP Officers discovered all of these weapons (including an RPG!) that were being smuggled into Mexico.
A combination of inspection experience and technology prevented these weapons from falling into the hands of the cartels.

A K9 alert and scan anomaly sent a vehicle to secondary.
Officers found 34.61 lbs of cocaine and 10.40 lbs of fentanyl powder, about 378,182 pills, hidden in floor compartments.

CBP officers seized 3 firearms, 5 magazines, and 110 rounds from a U.S. citizen during an outbound inspection.
Transporting firearms out of the U.S. without proper authorization is a violation of federal law.

Port of San Luis CBP Officers working outbound inspections with Yuma Border Patrol agents apprehended two adult males in failed attempt to smuggle weapons, magazines, and ammo into MX. The contraband was hidden throughout the entire vehicle, to include non-factory compartments.
