Mr England said: “I can’t describe the kindness of the nursing staff who made our stay in hospital so comfortable and worked hard to make sure we were looked after on the same ward. They have shown such compassion in so many ways. Kindness goes such a long way.” #TogetherInHope
Laura Lomas, Sister @36Lri, described how each morning, Mr England would get up and dressed before the therapy team arrived, so that when he needed to exercise he could walk to his wife. And there, awake and waiting would be Mrs England, ready for their daily tea. 😭😭

However, don't be alarmed if you get called for further investigations. Regular screening will help detect and manage these abnormal cells early. #DontFearTheSmear
#MythMonday
'abnormal results from a smear means cancer'
This is a common false misconception, around 6 in 100 women have abnormal results. As you age and your body changes, the cells of your cervix can also change. The changes are often harmless and will resolve themselves..
CALLING ALL THE MEN TO JOIN IN THE #DONTFEARTHESMEARCAMPAIGN
Although women require the smear, play your part in getting the women around you and your loved ones to keep up to date with their smears. Every smear counts! Every smear saves lives!
