Fanato, who criticized Halsey for having “main character syndrome” tells Variety:
"I don't have to prove my track record to Halsey … I have been the most relevant and impactful music critic of my - and any - generation for over 10 years now. You can't really debate that. There's no music critic bigger than me who's had more impact than me for as long as I have, consistently. And if I die tomorrow, nobody's going to outdo that run.”
Who has main character syndrome now?
@raptalksk@Variety idk if you’ve been paying attention to this particular situation. It’s more than just his reviewing that has caused this issue
Also lets not pretend he’s some rondo who just reviews shit. He’s someone with influence that can’t be ignored
@j0hark@RealConvolkJT yes but you can review an album without calling accusing the artist of having main character syndrome when she’s writing from a place of going through cancer. That’s insensitive
I am thankful that God never looks to my righteousness as the basis for dealing with me. If He did, I would have long been condemned, and rightly so under His perfect justice. That is why the gospel means everything to me. God perseveres with me, continually renewing my heart by His Spirit. His love never ceases to pursue me because Christ, in His grace, gave Himself for me on the cross. There is nothing in all the world more precious, more comforting, or more glorious than the love of Christ.
Because of Jesus, Charlie Kirk received true freedom.
You, evidently, do not have that freedom.
I hope you enjoyed Juneteenth, but one day, I hope you enjoy the greater freedom that Charlie Kirk has.
Praising a woman for having an abortion because she did “what’s best for herself” is like praising a Man for leaving his kids because he did “what’s best for himself.”
