JUST IN: $AMD announced a multi-year partnership with OpenAI that could "provide a springboard to greater adoption of its technology and take its AI GPU revenue from $6.55B this year to over $100B" in the next few years. 😳

As part of the agreement, OpenAI can acquire up to ~10% of $AMD's shares at $0.01 per share.

The partnership covers the deployment of roughly 6 GW of $AMD's upcoming MI450 chips starting in 2026, with revenue recognition beginning next year.
