I doubt that the UK would have warned Iran. I doubt that NATO would have warned Iran. The EU is not applicable.

It could be that the administration thought it would be a security risk to attempt to build a coalition prior to the first phase of attacks.

It could have just as easily been that they didn't think we needed them. But we did, because we were operating from and over their sovereign territories. Plus, we asked for their help after the fact.

One fact can't be disputed. Army, Air Force, and Naval Aviation performed at an elite level.

We are stronger with allies.

Military institutions talk constantly about future war. Much less often do they ask what kinds of judgment future war will actually demand.
