My husband took this picture of one of many monarchs on the Craig's Blue Mist in our yard. . . just three weeks ago. Now, fall has set in and the temperature has dropped to 56 degrees in West Texas. Brrr for us.

@Paul_Ilett Same. But have learned my sinuses behave better when I wear a mask. Also fewer colds, flu, and stomach bugs if I wear va mask in crowded places.

We want to phase out gasoline. Think how expensive it'll be when all cars are electric or hybrid and the oil companies have converted, as they should, to sustainable energy. We'll always need petroleum products but not to run our cars, hopefully.
A few minutes ago, a lady behind me in line at the grocery store told me it was ridiculous that I'm still wearing a mask. I lifted the mask from my face, leaned in towards her,and said, "Yeah, but I tested positive for covid yesterday. "
@ahumanape But I thought it would be prettier. Makes me think of "Childhood's End" by Arthur Clark, who also wrote "2001: A Space Odyssey." And the sequel.
