With deep regret we announce the death of our Assistant District Grand Master, Daniel Jacobus Swart (Danie).
Danie was initiated into King George V Lodge No 3630 in Victoria West in 1989, and Installed as Asst. District Grand Master in 2019.
Sincere condolences to his family.

@UGLE_GrandLodge Mowbray Lodge No.2993 delivered clothing, toys, teddybears, blankets, mattresses and bedding to help the 73 impoverished people at a squatter camp near Mamre, 60 km from Cape Town.
Freemasons also provided solar panels and a pump system to provide water.

CHRISTMAS in WINTER. Mowbray Lodge No. 2993 hosted its annual mid-winter charity auction in Cape Town, a well-supported dinner and dance highlight in the District. Proceeds will go to the Benevolent Fund. Arriving guests were heartily welcomed with tasty festive goodies.

Oldest University Lodge turns 200

Masons of the KING GEORGE V LODGE No 3630 raised R15 000 for charity at a Veteran Motor Show held in Victoria West, a town in the Karoo (semi-desert) and home of the Lodge. The proceeds went to the local old age home.
