We’re starting to get into “Stores selling Christmas decorations before Halloween” territory with the NBA offseason. Can people please just enjoy these incredible Finals?!?
The Nets are expected to offer Austin Reaves a four-year, $178.5 million contract, per @DanWoikeSports.
The Pistons and Hawks are among the teams that can create cap space and make competitive offers for Reaves.
I’m sorry, I’ve worked for a 15 win team…and this squad isn’t winning 15 (no disrespect to any of these players, especially Hawkeye legend Dean Oliver).
We have one of the most fun series going on that I can remember and New York is a game away from the Finals and the bulk of the NBA chatter on my feed is about lottery reform and off-season trades. Maybe I’m just following the wrong people.
@DanRShafer My son and I play a game every time we're at the airport where we guess how many of the four walkways will be working before we turn the corner. I'll be sad if they go away.
Teams wore white at home and color on the road so that you could differentiate them easily on small black and white TVs. "I want to turn on the TV and know which team is which" is not as compelling of an argument when the average TV being sold is a 60" 4k UHD set.
What happened to home teams wearing white jerseys?
The home team has worn white in only 22 of 66 NBA playoff games so far this year.
Ten years ago, home teams wore white in 83 of 86 games, including every round two, Conference Finals & Finals game.
From 97% to 33% in a decade.
