@HMRCcustomers Thanks for your reply. I will do this by phone. I would have preferred to do it online because of the time it takes to get through by phone. Hopefully the system will be changed in the future.
@HMRCcustomers Every year some of my fixed term investments end. I start new ones. I cannot find anywhere on personal tax account to record the end of an investment. You assume the interest for the closed ones continue year after year. I am then taxed too much and have to phone.
@HMRCcustomers Hi Anas. I can now find an option to add a new investment income or to end one but only as a total amount for that type of investment. If I have 3 fixed bonds I cannot specify which one has ended. You records are by individual investments (bank name/account no.These are not shown
@kushielx3_sarah So the regular GP on Breakfast TV the other day was saying that schools should now stop being so afraid of COVID and sending whole year groups home because of 1 pupil. So why can’t doctors do FAce to Face now?
@HMRCcustomers Hi James, I could not find ‘estimated income’ just ‘other’ where it asks for an amount actually received and nowhere to enter that it’s savings income.
@HMRCcustomers what option do I use on personal tax account to record estimated savings interest. There’s no specific button for this. Do I use the ‘other unearned income’ button and do I enter the figure before of after the £1000 allowance is taken off? Thanks
Hi, I can’t find a link for “something missing” I can get a list of types of earned/unearned item to choose but nothing for savings. The option for ‘other’ just asks for a NET amount and no option to describe the type.
LET'S GET THIS MESSAGE (OUT AGAIN) TO ALL THOSE NEW TWITTER ACCOUNTS DURING THIS GENERAL ELECTION. THIS CANNOT BE SEEN AND RETWEETED ENOUGH! Labour, LibDems and all voters seem to have forgotten this ever happened. #GeneralElection2019
@HMRCcustomers I cannot find a way of reporting Savings interest using Personal Tax Account. Is it possible to do this? I am under the £1000 allowance but I understand that interest on joint accounts still has to be reported. I have tried calling several times but without success
