Winston exploded on the scene this year where he was an All MAAC 3rd team selection. Winston put up averages of 15.3 PPG, 3.1 REB and 3.8 AST. He also put up very efficient splits of 45/36/82.

Winston stands at 6’0 160lbs. But please do not let those numbers fool you. He is a DAWG on defense and is incredibly active. For Winston’s career he averages 2.3 Steals per game and this season he averaged a career best 2.6. I will say it again, do not overlook him because of his size, he is a dawg. Winston even was selected for the All MAAC Defensive Team.

Winston is a great driver. Super crafty and has so many elite finishes. It’s rare to see many elite floaters left in today’s game but Winston has got a beautiful one. At the rim he finishes 49% which is a great mark for a guy his size.

Winston has ability in the mid range too. His ability as a driver frees up a lot of stop and pops in the mid range area and he takes advantage. Winston is an issue at all 3 levels.

As a shooter from distance Winston is also great. He has an ability to play off screens and take advantage of defenders who go under on him. He leverages his driving ability very well which causes defenders to go under on him which he almost always takes advantage of.

Honestly just an incredibly talented player. A mature guard with experience who has started all 93 games in his career. Even had a 29 point game against USC early in the season so he’s proven he can play to the moment. Some team will be getting a gem in Winston and that’s a fact.
