you know what's actually funny? there is some conspirational theory about playoffs seeding for the last 3 champs, which is kinda unreal
if you will take a list of teams who qualified to playoffs this year in order from Group A to Group D (like Group A 1st seed - #1, 2nd seed - #2, and Group B will be #3 and #4 sequentially) and look at the matchups, the pairs at the end will be: #1 vs #4, #2 vs #3, #5 vs #8, #6 vs #7. The biggest coincidence is that these "seeding" results are identical to the previous two champs (2022 and 2023), if you want some proofs - check it on your own in liquipedia or check screenshots below
if we will not take in count any special ruling systems for seeding, the chance of getting this result will be around 0.02% and if my maths not going wrong - with the rule "teams from the same group can't meet each other until upper finals" - the possibility of getting identical results is way higher - 3% (if it was the same for previous tournaments), which is still quite impressive and lucky(?)
believe me or not, but for me it already looks very crazy
pls like retweet quote retweet i spent 1 hour on researching all these possibilities on my own, i need some engagement😭😭😭
