Painful process to get discharge of a patient from corporate hospitals especially with insurance! One has to run from pillar to post. Mom in ICU and getting discharged but the process has taken hours. Disappointed @ApolloHospBBSR and @bajajalliance .

On 25 March 2026, HBT organised a Survivor Network meet in Kandhamal with 100 adolescents, where 15 opted for skill training, and a Strategic Coordination Meeting in Keonjhar with 63 participants, including 50 survivors. 50 rehab plans were developed and kits distributed.

Had a great meeting with Dr. Pragyan Mishra, Chairperson and Ms. Dharitri Patnaik, Founder Chairperson of FICCI FLO, Bhubaneswar Chapter at my residence office in Bhubaneswar.

They briefed me about the activities being undertaken by the organization for the empowerment of women. Their initiatives focus on promoting women's leadership, encouraging entrepreneurship and supporting various programmes aimed at strengthening the role of women in society.

On #IWD2026, the 100 Days Campaign to End Child Marriage concluded with candle marches in 2 blocks of Kandhamal. Around 180 participants, led by women leaders and ICDS staff, raised their voices for girls’ rights and a child-marriage-free Kandhamal. #RightsJusticeAction

On #IWD2026, HBT Keonjhar marked the culmination of the 100 Days Campaign to End Child Marriage. 10,000+ people were sensitized, 25 GPs passed resolutions, pledges were taken in 50 villages, and candle marches held across 4 blocks. 6 Child Marriage Yodhas were felicitated.
