Thank you @fssaiindia@MoHFW_INDIA@JPNadda
To Dalit brothers and sisters,
I do not deny atrocities. I have seen them with my own eyes when I was a child. I have seen Dalits living on the outskirts of our village. I have heard derogatory words like chooda and chamaar being used openly for them. I remember that when they visited others’ homes, they were made to sit on the floor. At that age, I did not fully understand what was happening, but with time, I understood how deeply unjust it was.
I condemn such treatment in the strongest possible terms; it is inhuman, crude, and shameful. Anyone who practices or supports such behaviour today deserves severe punishment.
At the same time, it is also true that the overwhelming majority of present-day GC and OBC families neither practice nor support such discrimination. And the system, in its quest to overcorrect, has created a structure that by default treats every GC/OBC individual as casteist criminal unless proven otherwise, which is also unfair.
One cannot morally or rationally justify harassing the present generation for injustices committed in the past. Holding people accountable for actions they neither committed nor endorsed converts the struggle against historical injustice into a new form of injustice.
Historical wrongs must be acknowledged and corrected through institutional reform, equal opportunity, and restoration of dignity, not through social revenge that sustains perpetual hostility instead of reconciliation.
This is why I support the Atrocities Act but oppose the absence of provisions against misuse. Punish those who commit crimes, but ensure that innocents are not targeted as a form of revenge. The same applies to UGC regulations. That is the basis of the opposition.
Supreme Court stays the University Grants Commission (Promotion of Equity in Higher Education Institutions) Regulations, notified on January 23, 2026 which was challenged by various petitioners as being arbitrary, exclusionary, discriminatory and in violation of the Constitution as well as the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
Powered by India’s youth, our space programme is getting more advanced and impactful.
With LVM3 demonstrating reliable heavy-lift performance, we are strengthening the foundations for future missions such as Gaganyaan, expanding commercial launch services and deepening global partnerships.
This increased capability and boost to self-reliance are wonderful for the coming generations.

To the Ukrainian and West handles abusing India for hosting Putin, read:
In 1971, when India was at war with Pakistan, the US sent Task Force 74, led by the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, a nuclear-powered, nuclear-capable carrier and the world’s largest at the time, to support Pakistan.
The Soviet Union responded instantly. Moscow dispatched nuclear-armed submarines and cruisers from Vladivostok to shadow and block the US fleet. The Soviet ships tailed the American carrier group and made it clear that any interference with India would meet resistance. The mighty US task force, sent to bully a young India, sat helplessly in the Bay of Bengal and then quietly withdrew.
This is what Russia means to us: a time-tested, all-weather ally that stood by us in our darkest hour. So spare us the morality lectures. We will not stop engaging with them because of a war triggered by Western expansionist interests.
The same West that sanctions Russia is the West that increased imports of Russian LNG, whose companies still operate in Russia through loopholes, and whose nuclear plants run on Russian uranium, all after the Ukraine war began.
If meeting Putin equals supporting war crimes, then why didn’t you shout when Trump hosted him, or when China welcomed him at SCO, attended by 30+ countries? Why is India the only target? Because the outrage isn’t moral; it’s racist.
We don't support wars but will protect our interests, honour our allies, and do what every sovereign nation does. Deal with it.
No one is explaining the joke, so I will. It’s multi-layered.
First, there was a fun Oct 2017 Twitter exchange about the right way to render a burger emoji. Obviously this was trivial, but Sundar said “we’ll drop everything else we are doing and address on Monday” as a joke.
The new post uses that old reference to show off Gemini 3’s image rendering capabilities. Normally, AI models struggle with spatial orientation, particularly with respect to the relative position of objects. They also struggle with text (though less so these days) and with precision in general.
But this image (if rendered by Gemini 3) seems to resolve that issue, as the exact spatial positioning of the cheese is handled correctly and precisely.
There is one more level, which is that Google really *did* drop everything they were doing to truly focus on AI. And Gemini 3 represents the moment when they actually retook the lead, at least for now. When combined with Sundar doubling Google’s revenue to $100B, he’s proven he can lead Google to unprecedented heights both technologically and commercially.
Hence: iykyk. If you know, you know.
