Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test.
48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video.
It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
His family wanted him to become an engineer.
Nikhil Palikar asked them to give him just one year to try and make a life out of playing the tabla.
That one year never ended.
Today, as stated in the video, he has performed over 2,500 times, played to audiences of more than 15,000 people & created a 16-member collective, mixing Indian classical and folk traditions with electronic and contemporary music.
But what I applaud most is the courage it took at the very beginning to step off the beaten track. To resist the perfectly understandable pressure to choose a conventional career and give his passion a chance.
I admit I’m a little partial to stories like this. I too resisted the conventional wisdom that engineering was the only sensible path post high school, & chose, as an undergraduate, to study filmmaking instead. It was my way of not conforming, & of giving my ‘right-brained’ inclinations a chance before eventually entering the world of business.
And I suspect Nikhil’s choice has even more relevance today in terms of careers.
In a world where AI will become extraordinarily good at many of the things we once thought only humans could do, I believe there will be growing value in things that are deeply human. Music. Performance. Creativity. Experiences that make us feel something.
Careers built around those qualities may turn out to be far more durable than we imagine.
So here’s to Nikhil for asking for that one year.
And here’s to everyone with the courage to give the road less travelled a chance…

Very well written truth of life
I recommend everyone to read this excellent message
🙏🙏
Read carefully till the end!
The real truth of life!
Rakesh Jhunjhunnwala's ( 46% share holder of Akasa Airlines ) last words before he passed away with a net worth of 45000 crores:
I have reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. My life is an achievement in the eyes of others. However, I had no happiness except work. Money is just a truth I use.
Laying in a hospital bed at this point and looking back on my whole life, I realize that the identity and money I was proud of, faded and worthless before death.
You can hire someone to drive your car or earn money.
But, you can't hire someone to suffer and die.
Lost physical items can be found. But there is one thing that is never found when lost - and that is "Life".
Whatever stage of life we are in, in time we will face the day when the heart stops.
Love your family, partner and friends...
🙏treat them well, don't cheat them, never be dishonest or treacherous.
As we grow older and wiser, we slowly realize that wearing a watch costing Rs 300 or Rs 3000 or Rs 2- 4 lakh - all tells the same time.
Whether we have a wallet of 100 or 500 - everything inside is the same.
Whether we drive a car worth 5Lacks or a car worth 50Lacks. The path and the distance are the same and we reach the same destination.
Whether we live in a house of 300 square feet or 3000 square feet - loneliness is the same everywhere.
You will realize that your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world.
Whether you fly in first class or economy class, if the plane goes down, you are going to go down with it.
That's why..
I hope you realize, you have friends, brothers and sisters, with whom you chat, laugh, sing, share pleasantries....
That's true happiness. !!
An indisputable fact of life:
Don't educate your children just to be rich.
Teach them to be happy.
When they grow up, they will know the value of things and not the cost.
What is life❓
There are three places to better understand life:
- Hospital
- Jail
- Crematorium
In hospital you will understand that nothing is better than health.
In prison you will see how precious freedom is.
And in the crematorium you will realize that life is nothing.
The ground we walk on today will not be ours tomorrow.
Let us be humble from now on and thank God for what we have got.
Can you share this message with someone else..?
And tell them God loves them..!?
96% will not share this, but if you are one of the remaining 4%, share this truth
In Balrampur a teacher hit a child who hadn’t even done anything wrong When the father showed up to complain, the teacher snapped at him instead
The Father filmed the whole thing. It didn’t slow the teacher down at all.
That’s the part that sticks.
How does someone like this stand in front of a class? If you’re a teacher you owe kids and parents a calm responsible answer not a beating and a blow up
राजा भैया का सेक्युलर रिपोर्टर को मुहतोड़ जवाब

Heads of AI firms tell UN Security Council that it could be a risk to all humanity.
“If managed poorly, I even believe AI could be a risk to humanity as a whole,” said Dario Amodei, the chief executive officer of Anthropic.
