You’ve been at home for 7 months and luckily a lady referred you to her place of work, because she works well and the manager likes her, they didn’t even stress you… The interview was just a formality.
You joined the company finish, but you started misbehaving.
Every morning as early as 6am, you join NSPPD without earphones. you turn the place to NSPPD branch ..
Work, you won’t do, they have to be chasing you with calls to do handover because you’re busy streaming NSPPD.
Phone on loudspeaker, shouting “Amen! Die! Die! Die!” “What God cannot do doesn’t exist, it is over”
while residents are still sleeping… you no allow landlords sleep
Staff complained, you said it’s only witchcraft that complains about prayer…
They got tired and whistleblew to the company.
On Monday, the manager visited the home unannounced and met you in full deliverance mode 💀
Shouting “It is over! What God cannot do does not exist!”
The audacity 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Now they’re asking:
Who is dying??
What is over??
Who’s shouting on the phone??
Why are you shouting??
Why did you abandon your duty??
Yoy cannot answer, you are were looking like a head of goat that was abandoned
Now they’ve sacked you.( won ti le e danu)
you now have all the time to pray without interruption..
Innocent company don get PTSD for Nigerians , they don’t want to employ Nigerians again…
One person’s behaviour has affected others.
When my friend told me this yesterday, I was so pained… 😔
That rubbish behaviour has affected my friend now because the company was supposed to sponsor her but they’re giving excuses.
She said if there’s anything she regrets in this life, it’s referring that olori gbeske girl
This girl inside the bus wore a corset which was truly revealing. She was the first person to join the bus, so the driver had tried his shot earlier but failed.
As soon as she alighted, one oversabi woman was the first to say “see all her breast outside”.
No sooner had she said that, the driver picked it from there. He started saying all sort about ladies these days and how they are spoiling their future. Saying it’s due to bad parenting.
At first. everyone was having it and they started dropping their own opinion. Baba continued even after everyone was quiet o. Apparently, it was personal to him😂
The driver stopped to pick a passenger to fill up. He accelerated and continued with the trash talking.
From nowhere, we just heard “no be so your pikin, Chinaza no finish secondary school because say she carry belle?”. Obviously, the new passenger that he picked knew him well
Everybody shouted “aaaah”. Till we got to the last bus stop, the bus became silent and very awkward😂
Amiyah started making beads and made me brand ambassador. After finishing the first set, I tried them on, and they looked good. She then asked me to pay for the beads. Shey brand ambassadors usually pay ni? She said she doesn’t like her brand ambassadors arguing and fired me.
This is not even just a Nigerian problem. I worked in a few restaurants in the UK and we had to trash the food because:
1. Staff would keep the food for themselves instead of selling it.
2. The food at to be at a certain temperature at all times & once it isn’t, discarded
A mother who had two kids (Kamrin and Kodi) had been sending Kodi to daycare for 4 years before his brother was born.
She decided to enroll her 11-month-old child in the same daycare facility.
She came back after work to pick up her kids and saw bruises, swollen hands and legs, and scratches everywhere.
It was confirmed that her 11-month-old baby was attacked by two twin toddlers in the daycare 😭😭
I lived in a face-me-I-face-you compound in Ajegunle, Lagos, where the smell of akara frying in the morning mixed with the noise of generators fighting for power at night. My small one-room apartment was next to Mama Chinedu’s, a woman in her late thirties with two children and a sharp tongue that could slice through egusi soup.
Mama Chinedu was known for “borrowing.” Every other day, her knock would come like clockwork. “My brother, abeg, my gas don finish. Just small to finish this stew. I go return am sharp sharp.” At first, I felt pity. Life in Lagos was hard—NEPA took light like it owed them money, fuel prices climbed higher than coconut trees, and many families struggled to put garri on the table. So I would roll out my half-empty cylinder, help her connect it, and warn her gently: “Make you no finish everything o.”
She always smiled sweetly, thanked me with “God bless you,” and disappeared. But the pattern never changed. She would use the gas for her big pot of soup or beans, return the cylinder with just a whisper of gas left inside—like a drop in the ocean—and then act like nothing happened. Sometimes she even added a tiny refill from her own, but it was never enough to cook one decent pot of rice.
One Sunday morning, I woke up early to prepare for church. I had ironed my white shirt, polished my shoes, and planned to cook a quick plate of yam and egg before heading to the Redeemed church down the street. My gas was very low—I had been managing it carefully all week. Then the knock came again.
“Brother! Please, my gas cylinder don empty completely. My children never chop since yesterday. Just lend me your own make I boil small rice for them. I go bring am back before you even finish dressing.”
I sighed. “Mama Chinedu, my own gas na small small. I wan cook before church.”
“Ah, no be so na! You be Christian now. Help your neighbor. God go bless you double.”
Against my better judgment, and because the children were really crying in the background, I gave it to her. She dragged the cylinder away with thanks pouring out like rainwater in July.
Thirty minutes later, as I was about to light my stove, she banged on my door again. The cylinder was back—but it felt even lighter than before. When I shook it, it sounded almost hollow.
“Mama Chinedu, wetin happen? This gas don nearly finish!”
She waved her hand dismissively. “Ah, no vex. I just use small to boil the rice. You fit manage am like that. I dey rush go market now.”
I stood there stunned, still in my towel, church time ticking closer. “But I told you it was low. Now I no fit even boil water.”
She hissed softly. “You too dey complain. Na just gas. No be say I thief am. Next time I go buy my own.” Then she turned and walked away, muttering something about “some people no get helping spirit.”
That day, I went to church hungry and angry. The pastor preached about kindness and loving your neighbor, but my mind kept replaying the scene. After service, I made up my mind. No more.
The next time Mama Chinedu came knocking with her sweet voice and sad story, I smiled politely and said, “Sorry, my sister. My gas don finish too, and I no get money to refill now. Try the woman for the other side.”
She looked shocked, like I had slapped her with okra. From that day, the frequent visits stopped. She still greeted me in the compound, but the entitlement was gone. I learned a hard but necessary lesson: true kindness must have boundaries. If you keep pouring from an empty cup without reciprocity, you only end up thirsty and resentful.
Many people might not believe this but...
In 2023, I was packed into a police Danfo during a random raid in Jos, Plateau state. I was trekking for an all night session in school. They drove us to the station, seized our phones, and told everyone to sit on the bare floor behind the counter. The IPO in his faded uniform brought out rumpled sheets of paper and shouted ''Criminals remove your shoes make una write una statement for here''
I tried to look at the guys beside me who were sweating and writing things like "I am just walking and police catch me abeg I am a student." Another guy with a torn shirt was writing, "I swear to God I am not a cultist, I only went to buy indomie and egg, my mother is a widow." One particular guy was literally dropping tears on his paper, writing, "I don't smoke loud, I have CHM 101 test tomorrow morning, please have mercy in Jesus name."
I knew my family did not have 50k for any emergency bail. So I sat on that cold floor, balanced the paper on my knee, and activated the ''Femi Falana'' in me (small HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MUDER was giving me confidence).
I did not write a plea o. I wrote a chronological, legally terrifying timeline of my abduction. I used phrases like "unlawful detainment," "absence of probable cause," and "infringement of fundamental liberties." I made sure my handwriting was looking like a typed font🤲🏾
Thirty minutes later, the DPO walked in to inspect the night's harvest. He was biting the edge of a pure water sachet when he started reading the statements one by one, tossing them aside. Then he picked up my paper. He read the first paragraph, stopped, and looked at the crowd on the floor. He read it again.
I was already preparing my mind for Cell One, the one with Mosquitoes that trained in Afghanistan. I was entirely convinced my grammar had angered him.
The DPO looked at the IPO and said, "Who write this thing?" The IPO pointed at me. The DPO told me to stand up and follow him to his office. At that point, I wished I wrote my statement in Hausa😭
I entered the room, sweating like cold water. He sat down, dropped the paper on his desk, and said, "So, you sabi write English like this and you dey waka late night?"
He opened his drawer and brought out a massive stack of dirty files. He complained that the station's secretary had been sick for three days and they had a massive backlog of official reports to send to the Area Commander.
I did not enter the cell that night. I sat in a perfectly air-conditioned office from 11 PM to 4 AM, actively ghostwriting police reports, restructuring suspect confessions, and formatting legal petitions for the Nigerian Police Force. By 5 AM, the DPO gave me 15k cash for a job well done, bought me a plate of white rice, and ordered the patrol van to drive me safely to my hostel with full escorts.
If you are currently smiling at this beautiful grass-to-grace story, I want you to know that you just read several heavy paragraphs of pure, undiluted fiction. I have never been arrested in my life. I am currently on my bed eating bread and egg. But like the original tweet said, proper articulation solves 75% of your problems. The remaining 25% is knowing how to lie fluently to farm engagement on this app. Happy Sunday.
My mother set a trap for my brother’s wife at the dinner table.
It did not go as planned.
She waited until she was comfortable. Fed. Relaxed.
Then she attacked.
“Ever since you people got married he doesn’t go to church like before.”
The table went silent. My brother suddenly became very interested in his food. The kind of interest that means please God do not let this involve me.(note that my brother was never the churchy type and my mom knew that)
His wife chewed. Swallowed. Wiped her mouth. Then replied playfully
“Mama, If raising a boy was hard, what do you think raising a man feels like.”😊
My mother blinked.
My brother coughed.
Someone’s spoon hit a plate.
Everyone Ate silently through the Meal😂
That girl is my favorite 😍
Similar wetin?
At all, I was a good kid till i turned 11.
I’ve read your stories, you were competing with Satan 😭😭😭😭
You were not a child, you were an evil spirit😭
My hairstylist just sent me and my wig away😂
She was halfway through it when her boyfriend came in. Today is her birthday, He sent her 1 million naira right there and told her to lock her shop immediately so they could hang out.
I can't even get angry because I'm still in shock 🤦🏽♀️ but I thought men no longer give their girlfriends money
This week a funny thing happened that almost made me give up on helping others. Truly being nice to the wrong people will discourage you.
On Tuesday, I chatted my customer if she has new stock, cos hubby blessed me with some really good amount so I decided to buy some footwear for myself and my Nanny. So I chatted my customer to know if her new stock has arrived.
She said she would have told me since the previous day (Monday) that I should come now. So I told my Nanny that I want to reach Agege Pencinema and she's coming with me and my kids. We got into the car and I drove us down to Agege Pencinema.
We got there, then the shop owner showed me her new market. I picked 5 pairs of Zara and Hermes slippers for myself, then I told my Nanny to select hers too.
While I was trying on one of the selected slippers, some group of public school student came in to buy school sandals. The shop owner attended to them. In those group of student, only two(a boy and a girl) were the ones buying. So they selected the ones they like but the amount they budget couldn't purchase the sandals.
They pleaded with the shop owner that she should please sell for them. The shop owner said she can't sell below cost price. I saw the sadness in their faces as they left. I told the shop owner to call them back. She did. Then I asked them how much they budget for a pair of sandals. They said 6k but the purchasing price is 10k so I told the shop owner to pack it for them, that I'llcompletetheir balance. She did and they left just like that. No "Thank you".
I felt hurt💔 but i shook it off. In my mind I did it for the sake of tomorrow but it really hurt my feelings. After a while, I was done with what I want to buy so Nanny help moved the things we bought into the car, then one of the student(a female) came back and knelt down, and said "thank you ma". I will not lie, tears almost came rolling down my eyes, I had to fight it in.
She(the student) said; "I'm sorry I forgot to thank you for helping me buy my sandal, I was already in the bus when I remembered I didn't say thank you to you. I had to run back. Thank you very much ma. God bless you!!"
My heart was lite up in happiness, then I hugged her. I realized she was using a polythene bag as her school bag. So I asked what class she's in, she said SS1. So I asked; "How would you like a new school bag 🎒??"🙂 she knelt down again crying. I pulled her up and asked her to select anyone she wants. She couldn't select cos she was overwhelmed. So I picked one for her. She kept thanking me.
The shop owner packed her new backpack 🎒 in a nylon bag and handed it to her. Then I also gave her 2k for her transport fare back home. After she left, I turned around and allowed the tears flow. The shop owner caught me crying and said; "Are you crying??"😀 I said; "No ooo 😕 fly entered my eyes😒". I quickly dried my eyes.
I paid for my stuffs and drove back home.
On Wednesday, the shop owner called me and said; "That lady i did mother-christmas for, branched my shop ask of you. She said I should please extend her greetings to you." I was like; "oh thank you so much!".
I think parent should teach their children to be appreciative. Especially when a stranger helps them. A simple "Thank you" could change many things. That you're being helped doesn't mean the helper have much with them. It takes a kind heart to give. — Imagine if that young student didn't come down from the bus to come say "thank you", she wouldn't have gotten a new school bag.
The other student(male student) left without saying thank you, feeling entitled. But the other lady remembered the kindness that was shown to her, she came back to say thank you and got more.
It is well... its not as if I love being appreciated whenever I show kindness to anybody, but then again. Gratitude is a game changer.

The End.
Nothing happened to me per se, it was what I saw lmao
A man instructed a stripper to pee inside his whiskey glass,he mixed the whiskey with her urine and drank it.
I lost all professionalism that night,I couldn’t believe my eyes😭 we had to break the glass and also added the price of a new one to his bill.
Start ROBBING your husband.
For every money missing, steal thrice of it.
If you wake up and SUSPECT she has stolen again, steal from your husband!
If he doesn’t have, use his opay and collect loan.
When he finds out, remind him that in his family, they don’t punish thieves👍
Bimbo Ademoye's new movie “M&R” is coming soon on YouTube, and she brought all her famous characters along with her for the announcement. She is talented.
When I had my first baby in LUTH in 2003, the doctor walked in confidently to sew up my episiotomy without any lidocaine. I closed my legs and told him it was not happening. He got angry. That this is something he does everyday and it is not as big a deal as I was making it. I refused STILL.
When he saw how stubborn I was about it, he then said they didn't have any. I got my mum to go and buy; waited a while and then got sutured later.
Apparently, it is a common practice even in Nigerian government hospitals. Lots of people said they were told it was not necessary. I think it is a barbaric practice and doctors who do it should be ashamed of themselves.
Many women consent because they think the doctor knows best. Going through so much pain immediately after vaginal birth should be outlawed.
I knew a guy exactly like this in my 200L 2nd Semester. He lived in the self-con adjacent my compound off campus, and from Monday to Sunday, it was an endless conveyor belt of absolute top-tier women walking into his room. Sometimes they came at 7 AM and sometimes they came in the evening. Our entire street reached the conclusion that this boy was either using juju or doing male hook-up because no amount of money will make you bring those kind of women everyday without going poor!
We held a boys’ meeting under the mango tree in front of my compound. Serious analysis, diagrams were drawn, theories were proposed. Because the sheer volume of top-tier women entering and leaving that small room was simply defying the laws of engineering, physics, biology, and every known principle of “how boys in 300 Level are supposed to move.”
The matter got infinitely worse the day I saw my own area crush stepping into his house. I violently needed to know what was going on. One day, my roommate and I finally walked up to his door, using the classic Nigerian excuse of asking if his phase had NEPA light so we could see things in 8k.
When he opened the door halfway. We braced ourselves for impact. But, we were instantly hit by a thick cloud of Got2b glue, smell of burnt edge control and hot pressing iron.
This our supposed BABA for the GIRLS was standing there in a salon apron, holding a hot comb, and violently melting a 36-inch bone-straight frontal into my crush's scalp.
Baba was just a wig installer💀
I have never come across a kid that suffered so much like Ochanya.
Sh returns from school 2pm.
Victor returns home by 3 and then forces himself on her.
He continued r@ping her for months.
Then one day, the Father came home and caught his son raping the innocent girl with tears in her eyes crying for help.
When she saw her "Father" she thought help has arrived.
Instead of stopping his son in his early 20, he pushed the son away from her, and climbed the innocent girl.
The next day, the man canceled his 1pm lecture and returned home very early from work to wait for the girl.
Immediately she arrived from school, he began to rape her. His son walked in, and took turn.
It continued for years.
Father and son raping a girl of eight years turn by turn, year after year—tell me something more cruel and barbaric.
The little girl from 8 years became 10, and became very sick.
Winfred walked into them one day raping her and instead of reporting, she protected her father and sibling.
The aunty, Winifred's mum found out, but she kept shut. When the doctor's test results came out, the family hid the results.
Yes, she's an accomplice.
At the early stage of discovering that Ochanya was sick, it could have been easier to treat, but she deprived her treatment.
While the girl was sick, it didn't stop Winifred's Father and brother from still raping her.
For five years, nobody in the family reported the case to the police. They were all aware.
It was Ochanya that opened up when she was already dying, but Mr. Andrew like a Nigerian politician still fought his way through the case.
Ochanya finally d!ed at 13, guess what! Winifred's Father influenced the doctor's autopsy.
That's how heartless humans can be.
Winfred is living her career as an "influencer" on X. Victor, the rapist is living his dream career as musician and Winfred always promotes his music here. The rapist-father is still a lecturer teaching teenagers. (Imagine a rapist among teenagers).
But they deprived Ochanya her dream of becoming a medica doctor.
Now Winifred just returned to X with a banger post, smiling sayiythe trend is funny, like she is not a willing accomplice of rape, but another family would weep at the thought of her family's wickedness.
How do they sleep in that home knowing that they are all rapists, murderers and accomplices?
Wini shouldn't be let free here until she testifies against her rapist father in the court. The court needs evidence, wini is the evidence but she has refused to be one.
Until Justice is served, we remain Ochanya's voice.
Ochanya deserves justice.
Silence in the face of injustice is INJUSTICE—and evil.
