Yesterday I got to play @Jeopardy host for a campus event sponsored by the @aumontgomery English Club, so of course I donned my tie that Alex Trebek once wore on the stage that now bears his name.
On this date 25 years ago I was on @MillionaireTV hosted by Regis Philbin. There I met the show's producer, @embassydavies, who's now the executive producer of @Jeopardy, and my 10-year anniversary for that appearance is coming soon.
I love Charlotte Brontë’s novel Jane Eyre, but it’s kinda like a Lifetime movie, except the main couple aren’t beautiful. Not that this has stopped Hollywood from casting beautiful actors in these roles, however.

Dr. Darren Harris-Fain published two essays in Critical Insights: The Supernatural, edited by emeritus professor Robert C. Evans: the keynote essay, "The Supernatural in Literature," & "Magic, Mutants, and Men of Steel: Science Fiction and the Supernatural in Superhero Comics."
It's not yet noon here in Alabama, and hours apart two colleagues have told me, out of the blue, that they'd like to see me again on @Jeopardy. Wild Card Tournament 2025, hopefully?
As someone who attended three Ohio universities, earned degrees from two (including one in a clue, but no spoilers), and taught at two others, I loved the category “The Ohio Universities “ in today’s first @Jeopardy round.
@Jeopardy I came up with Lake Pontchartrain, which I drove over en route to my Jeopardy! audition in New Orleans and drove over again last October heading to a conference in NOLA.
